Welcome to my website. From 1 August 2026, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at McGill University. Before moving to Montreal, I was an Associate Professor of International Relations at the University of Cambridge (2021-2026) and an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2015-2021).

My research explores the historical development of international order, with a particular focus on Latin America's contribution to international norms and institutions. My work has been published in journals including American Political Science Review, International Organization, European Journal of International Relations, International Studies Quarterly, and others.
